Born in Zimbabwe and a multi-hyphenate artist based in Newport, Wales, Onismo's exploration represents a deeply poetic visual language shaped by life's journeys, rituals, and memories. Our artistry fuses recorded video content, archival footage and found moving imagery with elements like rhythms, spoken word, and movement. This comprehensive approach intertwines various creative media to embed themes of heritage, culture, and transformative codes.
