I’m a multidisciplinary visual artist working across animation, film, painting, design, writing and direction. My practice is rooted in storytelling and shaped by a background in animation and multimedia, where I began my career creating animations for S4C and Channel 4 and developed a visual language that moves between screen and physical space.
In 2015, I became Artist in Residence with National Theatre Wales, which expanded my practice into theatre and radio. During this time, I wrote, directed and designed my stage production The Rats (Rose Against the System), staged in the roof void at the Wales Millennium Centre.
My work spans multiple platforms, including lead animation for a BBC series, public sculpture design for The World Reimagined at Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, and commissioned oil paintings for the National Library of Wales. I have also contributed to collaborative, multi-platform projects exploring the legacy of the 1919 Cardiff race riots.
Alongside this, I have written, directed, designed and animated four 2D short films for Channel 4 and S4C, and have worked across music videos, cover art and collaborations with local artists. As an emerging director, I collaborated on National Theatre Wales productions including Storm 1, 2 & 3.
Through my brand Higher Graphics, I continue to merge fine art, community engagement and contemporary design, alongside mural work and clothing design. My practice is driven by a constant desire to learn, experiment and work across disciplines to tell stories in different forms.
